Our alumni, donors, and friends contributed over $6.6 million dollars in the last fiscal year to support our students, research, and programs. Their generosity allowed us to create 13 new funds to support scholarships, fellowships, endowments, and support the most pressing needs at the College of Education.

Fund for Excellence

This fund is used at the discretion of the Dean to support the most pressing needs of the College. These funds allow the Dean to address these needs in a timely manner and move forward initiatives identified throughout the academic year.

Education at Illinois Scholarship Fund

Gifts to this fund provide scholarships to students in the College of Education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Dr. James D. Anderson Fellowship in Education Fund

This fund supports outstanding College of Education graduate students in their academic endeavors and provides opportunities for the world’s future leaders in education.

Center for Culturally Responsive Evaluation and Assessment Gift Fund

Gifts support the CREA conference, CREA research, and administrative costs in the Department of Strategic Initiatives and Specialized Programs in the College of Education.

Youth Literature Festival Fund

Donations provide unrestricted support of a biennial Youth Literature Festival organized by the Center for Education in Small Urban Communities within the College of Education.
